One of the primary reasons for having an association is to set and enforce standards for homes in the neighborhood.  That is, to ensure the general upkeep of properties in the neighborhood to protect home values and maintain the high quality of the living standard.  To achieve these objectives, residents adopted Covenants, Conditions & Restrictions (CC&Rs) plus bylaws that outline the conditions for homeowners.  The CC&Rs define general standards for properties plus require that any changes to properties be approved by the elected board of directors.  
 
While most improvements are approved by the Architectural Director, the board sets general guidelines.  For information about specific standards, please refer to the frequently asked questions
