Ice Cream Social & S'MORE Roast
For 2008 we shuffled around the event calendar and had our first Ice Cream Social & S'MORE Roast at the beginning of the summer. The idea was to get people together early in the summer so they could make new friends and meet new playmates for the kids.
The first event in June was so popular we did it again in July. Once again turn out exceeded our expectations and everyone reported to having a great time. We expect to make the event part of our standard recreation calendar.
The event is generally held in the Cimarron Park on Friday nights so we can stay up late. The association brings the ice cream sundae and S'MORE fixin's plus stokes up the fire while residents simply need to come and have a great time.
