The Cimarron HOA is made up a five-volunteer board plus committees and volunteers.  In November 2008 there will be board positions open to fill three of the five positions to include:

 President

Serves as the primary liaison for the board and is responsible for all communications including the quarterly newsletter, website, and community meetings. 

Treasurer

Manages the finances for the HOA including budgeting, billing, and accounts payable.    

Secretary

Keeps and maintains all records for the HOA including meeting minutes and agendas.   

Architecture Director

Manages CC&R enforcement and reviewing architectural requests.

Landscape Director

Oversees the maintenance of all Cimarron grounds including the park, landscaped areas, and greenbelts.   

Board members also support and/or manage special projects and community activities.

 

The board members are supported by volunteer committee members.  The committees include:

Currently the board is seeking:

 Activities Chairperson

Organize a committee of volunteers to run community activities including the annual Easter Egg Hunt, Summer Shindig, and National Night Out.  Additional activities may also added throughout the year.

Reserve Study Chairperson

This is a special project that includes inventorying all the HOA's assets, estimating replacement values, and determining necessary funds for future repair, maintenance, and replacement.

Website

All types of skills are needed for future enhancements to the HOA's website including graphic design, writing, and programming.  

Architecture Review

Support the Architecture Director with neighborhood walk-throughs, drafting letters, and other tasks to support the enforcement of CC&Rs.

The neighborhood needs both chairpersons and supporting committee members.  No prior experience is required and you can give whatever time you have available.
